ABOUT TORI GRAHAM

I’m Tori Graham, the founder and creative force behind Graham Design Group. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial interior design, I’ve built a career around creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but thoughtful, functional, and responsive to the people who use them.

My approach has always been hands-on. I enjoy being involved in the details-from developing the initial design concept and selecting finishes and furnishings to working through the challenges that arise during construction, procurement, and installation. For me, the most rewarding part of the process is seeing a design move from an idea on paper to a finished environment that truly works.

MY APPROACH TO DESIGN

I believe the best spaces come from understanding the bigger picture. Before making a design decision, I consider how the space will be used, who it is being design for, the character of the surrounding community, and the practical realities of the project.

I also believe good design requires flexibility. Projects change, budgets evolve, materials become unavailable, and unexpected challenges happen in the field. I enjoy finding creative solutions that protect the overall vision while responding to what is actually happening on the project.

That balance of creativity, practicality, and hands-on problem solving has become a defining part of my work.

MY PROFESSIONAL STORY

I’ve spent more than 20 years in the interior design industry, with experience spanning restaurants, hospitality, health care, and corporate offices. My work has included projects for brands and organizations such as Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Earls kitchen + Bar, Sunterra Resorts, Charles Schwab, Trammell Crow Company, University of Central Florida and Warner Brothers.

That diverse experience has had a lasting influence on the way I approach amenity design. Working across different environments taught me how much thoughtful design can influence the way people move through, interact with, and experience a space.

It was my first clubhouse project, however, that changed the direction of my career. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed designing these spaces—the combination of architecture, interiors, amenities, and the way people come together and experience a community.

After completing that first clubhouse, I knew I had found the type of work I wanted to pursue. I continued building my experience in multifamily and amenity design, eventually leading me to start Graham Design Group in 2017.

Today, clubhouses and amenity deign remains at the heart of what I do. I love the creative process, but also enjoy the problem-solving that comes with every project and the opportunity to create spaces where people genuinely want to spend time.
