CHALLENGE: A large, open club room was designed to serve as a flexible gathering space. During the project, a storage room was added within the open room, creating a large new element that could have disrupted the space and felt like an afterthought. We had to integrate the required storage into the architecture while preserving the openness, flow, and overall design intent.
OUR APPROACH: We treated the new storage as an intentional part of the design rather than trying to conceal it. Decorative paint was introduced to define the space, while strategically placed seating helped frame the area and create a natural transition into the larger club room.
